This was the first music I wrote after taking a 6 year hiatus from making music. I idea was spawned from my frustration with the crack down on sampling in the hip hop world. Fewer and fewer people were taking beats from producers that sampled because of fears of lawsuits. So I decided to do the exact opposite. Not only is every song here a sample, it is a practically untouched sample. I added no drums, no bass lines, no additional instrumentation. It was part an homage to the days of 2 turntables a mic and breakbeats and part a middle finger to the sample police. FYSM stands for Fuck You Sue Me.
